Galliford Try employed Hague Construction for the construction of a new indoor cricket school building, grandstand and multi-use games area.
Hague construction were employed as a groundwork sub-contractor for the works which comprised of a 10,000m3 on site muck shift, foundations to the new indoor cricket pavilion, including the installation of a 4,000m2 high tolerance in-situ concrete ground floor slab plus a 1,000m2 1st floor slab. A total of 1,500m of foul and surface water drainage was installed incorporating surface water attenuation and main sewer connection within the highway.
Externally works comprised of the installation of a 10,000m2 MUGA pitch, 3,500m2 of permeable road construction, a 5,500m2 reinforced grass-grid paving car park and the foundations for a 2,000 seat grandstand.
