The Hague Group recognises the need for minimal adverse environmental impact arising from its activities. It has made a commitment to prevent pollution, to minimise waste, to conserve energy, to adopt the principles of sustainability and to aim for continual improvement in environmental performance. It will ensure compliance with environmental legislation, local regulations and guidelines for best practice. It will use employee training to increase environmental awareness.

An Integrated Management System

(The Way Forward)

The SpeCC-accredited management system, which is presently in use, is the core of an Integrated Management System covering Quality, the Environment and Health & Safety. We will ‘fine tune’ this system so that it complies with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, plus OHSAS 18001. We then intend to obtain certification of our system to those standards from a UKAS – registered body.
