HEALTH AND SAFETY

On-site safety is of paramount importance. All employees
are issued with the Hague Health and Safety Awareness
Handbook as part of their induction training.

It is our policy to that all employees receive training in
safety awareness in line with MCG targets. They are able
to care for their own safety and to recognise the need
to safeguard the safety of others that could be affected
by their activities.

The management of on-site safety is based on the
Principal Contractor’s Construction Phase Health and
Safety Plan which we create or add to, in the form of
risk assessments and method statements.

It is mandatory for our staff and operatives to read
and understand these documents before starting work.

Our Health and Safety Management System is
developed by Hague Safety Training a specialist
company within the Hague Group. Hague Safety
Training Ltd provides safety information, advice,
training and monitoring for the whole spectrum
of the Group’s activities, and to outside organisations
if requested.
