Overview
Demolition of existing industrial building and design & construction of 5500 sq.ft Class B8 use storage & distribution/wholesale trade retail with two storey ancillary trade counter/administration facilities of 1100 sq.ft per floor.
The site was located on an old railway sidings and the original factory was a plating works.
Therefore, extensive geotechnical examination was carried out and resultant measures implemented in order to prevent contamination of the new building and adjacent brook to the satisfaction of the Environment Agency.
